about

Rachel is a chronically optimistic encourager.

Rachel is a chronically optimistic encourager. Her default setting is to focus on the “up side” of every situation. (Yes, even terrible ones). She crams her social calendar full with friend dates and can always make time to get together with someone for a chai tea latte. Her favorite clothing item is the sweater, and she religiously maintains her defense that it is a year-round essential. If you ask her to name her greatest enemy, she’ll probably say “cold.” Her greatest weakness might be Fettuccine Alfredo, and has been known to order it for several days in a row while on vacation. She loves TV shows and magazines about home renovation, and revels in any opportunity to flex her interior design muscles. She values community, and regularly puts the group’s desires ahead of her own. Her favorite books and podcasts revolve around topics like communication, spirituality, and personal growth. She loves looking forward to things and tends to enjoy the journey just as much as the destination. Rachel hails from the great state of Texas where she lives with her introvert husband and a plant named Petunia (who is not a Petunia).
